After the really difficult level 37 in Peggle Blast that we have talked about recently, one would think that we’d get an easier level to relax a bit, but the reality is completely different: level 38 in Peggle Blast is extremely difficult and I must admit that I had the worst time trying to complete it since starting to play Pop Cap’s great title.
Jessica Hull I really enjoy the game but I've been robbed. Really only issue is that I was playing level fifty five, I've been playing the last few days and I finally was about to beat it but there were only 24 orange pegs not 25. I have the screenshot, but I've been robbed of a win. I still had some balls left.
Of course I lost the round but I shouldnt have. I had enough to shoot and miss at least two times and still could've won. Please do something about and I'll change my rating to five.
Josh O Blatant bait and switch. By the time you get up above level 30, the levels very quiclky become so difficult, they are impossible to beat with the amount of 'lives' you are given. So you are forced to wait a day for 4 lives, or pay up.
I dare the devs to actually try and play the game and win without a credit card. Leave it to EA to f up a great classic game to the point that no one wants to play it. No surprise there. Do yourself a favor and do not support this company. Robert Yuhasz Are your consumers a Joke to you, EA? The amount of ads in this app is ridiculous! If it was 5 second ads every other level, fine.
If there was a way to pay for a 'premium' version with no ads, fine. But neither of these options are present, and I'm stuck with some stupid ad every level, and they are 20+ seconds long and loud as hell. I understand that there is a skip option in the top left corner of the screen after 5 seconds, but i sat through tons before even seeing it. Save the mute on ads. Emme Krueger The entire game is ruined by intentionally impossible difficulty spikes to force players to purchase boosts.
If you don't spend money, you can be stuck at these spikes for days because the game also has a manipulative 'lives' mechanic so you can only play 5 rounds unless you spend money. It's very obvious that EA took a good game and shoved in as many scams as they could, not to mention there are tons of long ads on top of all the above problems. Don't get suckered, don't play this game.
SudYT Thanks for bringing Peggle to our smartphones! I've played Peggle Deluxe on PC when I was a kid and ever since that I'd been searching for Peggle in the Play Store. This was my childhood favourite and it still is. Some people gave it a 1 star and told levels are harder after 30 and it's impossible to cross level 130. It is completely false.
I'm in level 173: MAGIC SAW BOX. I agree there are hard levels in between which took more than 20 trys to complete. What's the point if the game is too easy. Matthew Daniel This game is so close to being great. But the issues that it has are so incredibly frustrating that it ruins the whole thing.
Incredible amount of ads. After every single level. 'Drag the bucket' only works about 10% of the time, yet it is absolutely crucial to use in order to beat the levels in the 130s. The rate at which 'hit' pegs disappear changes, and seemingly does so to ensure your shot will not make it in the bucket. Does anyone actually buy those? Michael Welge When I saw this, I got really excited.
I loved peggle on PS3, so I downloaded this. There are new levels, ned characters to pick from.awesome!
I got really far in this game and ran into a GIGANTIC roadblock. I had my friends also try it and they said it impossible.unless I spent money to buy packs, which were/are ridiculously expensive (I dont mine supporting dev's, but it was way too much $$, for too little).
I had a lot of fun with the new levels but deleted it, due the roadblock. Jennifer Hunter I finally beat the game and am changing my review from 1 to 4 stars because I obviously did enjoy this game. If you want to PLAY WITHOUT ADS, simply turn on airplaine mode.
If you really want more lives at some point, temporarily move your phones time settings ahead. Once you beat the game you can play any level without needing lives anymore. Its a fun game if you occasionally 'cheat' a little. I beat this game without spending any money. I did watch extra videos in order to spin the wheel tho. Dal Do you love the original peggle games? Do you love shooting balls and watching them ping around scoring points?
Do you love the satisfaction of completing a hard level after stragetically planning it out? If you do, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. Don't get me wrong, this game is fun for the first couple levels and really gives you that original peggle feel. Eventually it gets to a point where it is literally impossible to beat the levels and then begs you to buy more power ups and lives to continue playin.
